I have received so many emails from family and friends, and decided to create this page with the collection of what was received.
I am leaving the guestbook open for you opinions and prayers to our troops, and hope you will use this respectibly.

Lord, our country is at odds today, and I come to you in prayer. Please give Your people the strength to put aside our differences and stand as one. Please help us to do Your Will, not ours. Lord, please keep our troops with You. If it be Your Will, please bring them home safe to their families. Give their families courage to live out each day as they face those who do not offer them support. Please also be with our President as he makes difficult decisions each day. Guide him to carry out Your Will, and give him courage to make those decisions despite opposition. Lord, I pray that You will be with the families who are suffering and hurt. Give them peace, that they may carry on.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed by Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil; for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen. |

Bless Our Armed Forces
Lord God, we ask you to bless the members of our armed forces. Give them courage, hope and strength. May they ever experience your firm support, gentle love and compassionate healing.

Tony, an Air Force Commander in Afghanistan, sent an urgent email to his wife. It said, "We need Christians to pray, pray, pray. Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their commanders..."
Lord, Send forth Guardian Angels to encamp round about our troops. Father, give their families peace. Give the ones in charge wisdom and guidance. Lord we know who sits on the throne and fully believe that you will protect the men and women who protect us! I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior".
